CASTILLO, 5 SAN PEDRO ALCÁNTARA, 7

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE
- Arquitectura Civil y Doméstica. Anterior al S.XX -

Corner building with one of its symbolic facades, with five openings per floor aligned vertically. The use of stone in the corners and framing the openings of the main facade is striking. On the third floor the openings are decorated by incorporating blind arches and closing them with an iron baluster balcony. The dintelado openings of the second floor indicate that it belongs to the mezzanine, probably used as an office and the ground floor for storage. Crowning with balusters and plinths is organized. The carpenter has been replaced. On the facade towards the street San Pedro de Alc ntara, more modest is decorated with the arrangement of windows with wooden sill. Elements of interest: jambs, frames and stone lintels of canter, balconies, iron railing. Cornice and crowning.

Remodeling of the ground floor for its adaptation to commercial use, probably in the second half of the 20th century.
