Entorno urbano de La Villa de Arriba

Currently there is a route that connects this villa with the Villa de Abajo. In 1497 the settlement of the first neighbors and the construction of their homes began in the villages of the Church of La Concepci n, thus giving rise to the Villa de Arriba.

The disorder with which the first zone was developed was stopped by the Cabido, which decided to carry out an urban design in 1505, inspired by the Renaissance models that arrived at the Peninsula. Origin is thus the Villa de Abajo.

The Plaza Mayor, that is to say, the neurological center of the Villa de Abajo, can be the beginning to start through La Carrera Street, one of the original streets of the urban design defined in the 16th century, which connects with the Villa de Arriba.
