CATÁLOGO DEL FONDO DE ARTE DEL ATENEO DE LA LAGUNA

The Ateneo de La Laguna was founded in 1904 and, since then, art exhibitions and exhibitions are one of the foundations that define this sociocultural institution. Therefore, it has an abundant background of artistic pieces of diverse nature: painting, sculpture, photography, engraving, drawing. Some precede its foundation, few others come from the first four decades of the twentieth century, the most correspond to the years of the immediate post-war period. From the seventies of the twentieth century will be when a consolidated representation of the art that has been exhibited continuously in the Athenaeum Hall.
