VIVIENDA Nº 33 (CAMINO PORTUGAL)

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE
- Arquitectura en el medio rural. Casas Terreras -

It is one of the houses located on the Portugal Road, in the house or of the same name, being one of the oldest settlements and with a paved road with traditional houses lined up, some very old from the 16th century. In this neighborhood, the first restorations of homes for rural tourism began to diversify the economy of the area.

It is a house aligned to the street, with two floors with a roof with four curved tile roofs, whose opening opens six openings, 4 of a window, a door centered in the country and a small window in the lower part . The facade is covered with lime mortar, in white color and the carpenters are made of wood, painted in a greenish hue with the white cores and stringers. The windows are open in guillotine, with 3 frames or bearings each. The arranged door is of two leaves, of simple cut without ornaments. On the facade, one of the falras that illuminate this traditional path is embedded.

It is not included in the protection catalog of the General Management Plan of the Santa Cruz City Council.

Final Approval of the Master Plan for the Use and Management of Anaga Rural Park, published on 06/03/2007 in the BOC 2007/047.
