The property as a redoubt of what once had to be an interesting urban hacienda, dates back to the 18th century mud jar style. Its current characterization testifies to the economic boom of its owners as it is considered a building of a rural character, linked to agricultural production activities, despite being in an urban environment. Historically, the property is included in the mud jar style with an intimate relationship between its architectural forms and its functionality, with clear and precise functional schemes, with wide walls that allow to hold the thrusts and give useful spaces.

The redoubt of the original building is erected on a rectangular floor taking advantage of the natural slope of the land, developing its main facade to the west where the main road was originally located but developing its architectural facade more relevant to the east, where the courtyard is located that intercommunicate to the different dependencies of which it consisted. The property and the silver from which the walls are developed generate the total volume that is divided into two floors. The walls are made by traditional techniques of the time, unworked stone walls adhered by mud and externally topped by a thin layer of lime mortar. The carpenter is very humble, made by means of boards assembled without decoration. The carpenter on this floor is composed of a window and a door to facilitate the entry of light and ventilation. The exterior staircase to the upper floor, made of wood, stands out. The entire property is covered with two decks, one per module, with four waters made of curved tiles.

Situación

The volume that is conserved, of what formerly seemed to be an urban hacienda of great importance, is characterized by being of two heights, without large openings and with traditional materials such as stone and mud. The set is covered with a four-water roof of curved tile.-Sanabria, 24

The facade that communicates directly to the public vault lacks any type of vain, so its architecturally more relevant facade is generated in relation to a private patio and the different dependencies and accesses. The property adapts to the orography of the land reached two heights.-Sanabria, 24

Perspective in which the uniqueness of the bearing system used in the property can be appreciated through the use of ashlars in the corners. Although the walls are made of stone and mud, large blocks are used interlaced in the corners, preventing the opening and joining the walls at this critical point. On the rectangular floor of the building, a roof with four curved tile roofs on a pair and row wooden structure is made to cover the whole. Overhanging on the facade a channel eave and blanket on a line of teeth.-Sanabria, 24

In the patio that articulates the different dependencies and the different floors, a very humble and elementary wooden staircase that allows access to the upper floor is located.-Sanabria, 24
