ROMERIA DE SAN ANTONIO ABAD (LOS REALEJOS)

In the neighborhood of Tigaiga, on the Sunday closest to January 17, the feast of San Antonio Abad, this popular rome is celebrated in honor of the Saint Anacoreta.

The festive root comes from the forties, although it was lost a few decades. Not be until 1995 when a group of neighbors motivated by the arrival of a new image begins to organize this celebration that today is considered the first pilgrimage of the year in the Canary Islands.
