The lands on which this building is based belonged to the Family of the conqueror, and servant of the King, Don Fernando del Hoyo. It was in the hands of the heirs, to arrive at the hands of Don Crist bal Joaqu n Franchi and Benitez de Lugo in the middle of the 18th century. Passing at the beginning of the 19th century to be owned by Carlos Uque and Osorio and Antonio F. Riquel and Agulo sindo finally acquired in 1843 by Fulgencio Melo and Calzadilla, from which he takes the current name, after the death of this is divided between his five sons. It is a building complex is formed by the house of the lord or the west and the house of the mediator located at the rising. The main building is composed of a rectangular plan oriented along the North-South axis offering its main facade to the East, being composed of an element that stands out over the rest of the building and is the wooden and glazed corridor, which Leaning on four straight feet with stone bases, it gives access to the rooms on the upper floor. The two-section wooden staircase is attached to the wall that separates the two main modules. The ground floor of the house has a single entrance hallway to what was originally the plant for the activities of the farm. In the north facade a vain in each one of the plants is opened. On the west façade, two openings on the ground floor and two on the upper floor show a simple and sober composition. The building is covered by pair and row wooden armor with four-sided Arabic roof covering, extending the east skirt to cover the glazed corridor. The house of the rectangular-shaped mediator and a single floor with the west facade that visually communicates with the house of the Lord, has a window and door distribution in a rhythmic way ending in the south module a wide two-leaf door . The roof is resolved to two and a water with Arabic tile.
