With a rectangular plan and a strong diagonal tension that materializes in the route between the arches of access to the casino and the square of the Church of the Holy Cross, the square constitutes a typical example within the typology to which it belongs. It creates spaces with concrete treatments regarding materials and plant species. The organization and design of this public space, which intelligently leads the visitor from the royal street to the casino. The organization of circulations and stays provoke suggestive visuals and surprising sensations. The treatment of materials and textures reinforce the intentions and qualify the spaces correctly. With the square there is a redefinition of the alignments and the concurrent streets, the intention was to raise the height in a uniform manner with sufficient order that will be related to the scale of the environment. |
