The property located at the beginning of the street of La Virgen was promoted by a branch of the Toste Family, nicknamed the Mayos, and stands in 1930, as it appears on its facade. The compositional simplicity and the figurative abstraction of the property where there is a fusion of aesthetic features and different influences encompass it within the typology of an ecologic property, built between medians. In this way, the incipient ecological style incorporates greater artistic achievements in the facade thanks to the use of reinforced concrete, which generates new construction processes, structural systems and improvements in habitability. |

Architecturally, the property is built on a plant in 'L ' adapting to the orography of the land. Its facade is staggered and can be divided into two modules, all of which are made using masonry, reinforced concrete and cement mortar. The main module is of two heights with an orderly arrangement of the openings and topped off with a flat roof. A lower module, of a height, is no more than the access port to an open corridor that gives access to the backyard. Vertically the different modules are framed with a decorative embossed strip made on the walls, horizontally on the main facade two cornices are installed that delimit the first of the second floor and second floor of the roof area. But decoratively, the main façade stands out for its eclectic ornamentation in each of its openings, the balcony flown with its decorated grandstand, the railing with balustrades franked with pilasters, the rich sculpture vases and especially the Fachada o frontispicio de una fábrica o de otra cosa.
