This set of buildings is located on a large plot near the Camino Real in the area of Icod el Alto, within the grain lands of the Prado. The house was built in the seventeenth century, belonged to the Jorva Calder n family, and from the eighteenth century it began to be called White House. Possibly the house was built on the plot in order to take advantage of the land to grow crops.

The building was adapted during the 21st century to house a rural hotel.

The building consists of five volumes that are arranged around central courtyards. Each of the blocks has a rectangular floor plan, they are of two heights (with the exception of one volume) and they have roofs with a wooden structure of a pair and row with four waters with a curved tile covering. The different modules are adapted to the topography of the hillside to be developed in height.

The building retains the original volumes, but in the western sector some of the facades have been intervened so that they have lost their original expression. In the facades the works of carpenter in doors and windows stand out, and in some areas the masonry of the construction systems is visible.

Inside, the torque and row structure that supports the roofs is visible. Although the house has adapted to a new use of rural hotel, the interior retains many of the original qualities. Some pieces of carpenter have been replaced but the interventions have tried to maintain the morphology of the pieces. The southeast volume presents a modification in which an external staircase was built to access the second level.
