The lands belonging to Don Hernando de Castro were originally acquired during the 17th century, dates on which the start of this building could be dated, by Bernardo Borges Zapata forming these lands part of his presbytery that together with his niece Petronila Francisca Ascanio were made with this Mayorazgo. In this hacienda there was a hermitage of devotion San Antonio de Padua that was ordered to be built in 1681 by wishes of Do a In s de Albornoz y Guerra (Widow of the Sim n del Castillo chapter). This hermitage already towards the 1750 began not to be used observing the disappearance of this one at the end of century XIX. The busy road that connected with the Tigaiga areas passed through its lands. |

Building of two heights with open plan L to the South-East. The building is located on the NS slope and maintaining its ridge level results in an adaptation to the land where in the north it reaches two heights while in the one that opens to the west it only reaches one, so in the wing North is where you should develop a wooden corridor supported on right feet that sometimes serves as an entrance to the rooms on the ground floor that are accessed through the two two-leaf doors located on it, (currently he finds all the sills replaced by mason work as well as his supports). The access must be resolved by a stone staircase attached to the wall to the east. The north façade dominates the views over the coast and it is configured through the regular distribution of four openings on the top floor, one of which should include the exit to a wooden balcony that dominated the horizon of this coast, while on the ground floor there are three windows and a door that were irregularly distributed. |
