This building located in the street of El Jard n, was built in the eighteenth century, built on part of the land that formerly belonged to the Hacienda de La Zamora, originally belonged to the Castro family, subsequently passing to the Poggio family, after marriage links, a fact that gives it its name, known as the Hacienda de Los Poggio. Currently, this property does differ greatly from its original appearance, since during the twentieth century, housing is subject to different interventions under the aesthetics of the neo-Canarian language, where in the first decades of this century, forming part of the together, and with the purpose of being able to listen to mass without abandoning their possessions, the chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes is built, located in front of the central courtyard of the Treasury. |

We are faced with a building of two heights, which was originally configured with a plant in 'L ' developed around a Canarian patio open to the east, which due to various interventions made, acquires a rectangular plant, where its est Tica shows a neo-Canarian language of the twentieth century. The property is delimited by a crenellated stone wall in which the main front door, which gives access to the patio, ends by a triangular front, crowned by three battlements, and a wooden cross over the central. The farm has on its west side the gardens, where the main facade stands, composed of a series of openings, located on the top floor, in the center of the country, a magnificent wooden balcony from which it is organized the front, and on both sides of it a small balcony with a forged sill, which keep the symmetry with the central axis. On the south façade, towards the Jardin Street, the wooden balcony stands out, an identical piece to the previous one, supported by dogs, it presents a slab of geometric relief squares, and glazing in the area of the bay, also equipped s of an independent roof that extends over the vertical by a wooden eave. The work of carpinter applied to the openings, the balconies, as well as the roofing system, resolved through four-sided roofs with the traditional Arab roof tile, executed on a wooden structure of pair and row, prevailing over the vertical of the building, ... |
