The building dating from the seventeenth century, built by Don Francisco del Hoyo in 1645 and was subsequently held by Don Mart n del Hoyo-Sol rzano and Catalina de Alzola in 1647. From that moment on, it passed to their respective descendants between those that stand out The Viscount of Good Step, who was one of the most daring defenders of the free expression that produced the Canarian intelligentsia between the 17th and 18th centuries. The property is divided in two, because of a lawsuit that occurred in 1863 between Fernando del Hoyo and the widowed Marquis of San Andr s, emerging from this division the Finca del Viscount and Bab n.

Rectangular and elongated building formed by an original crunch to which a second one was added on its north face. The main façade located on the south face has a single floor, composed of three modules, placing in the central one a higher parapet that encloses a flat roof that is accessed by an outstanding staircase of a wooden section. In this facade there are six openings that are distributed with some regularity, although the rest of the facades also have different openings even in the west. The roof is resolved by two four-seater modules with curved tiles separated by the interposition of the flat roof area.
