Building of the seventeenth century, is located next to the Hacienda de los Pr ncipes. In the set of estates located in the Tigaiga area of the municipal area of Los Realejos, this building of remarkable volume and unitary character was built that tunes with the buildings type of the time, under the formal influence and traditional architecture of the moment It was built in the seventeenth century, in full swing of agricultural production, at the initiative of the Machado family, rich landowners of the municipality. The denomination of Hacienda de La Era derives from owning an era at the end of the property.

The Property defines an L-shaped plant, organized around a small or cobbled courtyard open in the west, surrounded by service and agricultural dependencies of the farm. The construction is based on stone and mud walls of one and two heights under sloping roofs to one, two and four curved tile waters.
The facade presents an orderly composition of the openings made of wood, highlighting in its north and east facades a corridor on the second floor. Access to the second floor is done by an external wooden staircase. The roof skirts extend over the line of the façade on the corridor, providing the necessary covering of the same before the meteorological agents.

Pan mica of the property where you can see the roofs with four curved tile roofs on a wooden structure based on pairs and rows. The roofs of the roofs extend like the same slope on the corridor of the upper floor in the north and east façade.-Hacienda La Era

On the west façade, of a more private nature, are located around a small courtyard, other small dependencies of their own and necessary for the family's life in this hacienda. It is observed how a chimney emerges from the deck to a water, where the kitchen is therefore located. The kitchen is shaped as a simple structure, with a square floor and a roof with a water where an opening was provided for the evacuation of the fumes.-Hacienda La Era

The access to the farm and the property is made through a stone path crossed by two many thick topped with planters. These walls are made according to the silhouette of the land and existing terraces, facilitating access from the road to them.-Hacienda La Era

The north and east façade of the property stand out for the existence of an open corridor covered with a small roof and supported by right feet. This corridor arises as a solution to a need, the need to give access to the different existing units on the top floor. The wooden structure of the corridor tea is made based on dogs perpendicular to the facades (such as prolongation of the beams of the interior roof of the building) that rests on a race beam that in turn transfers the loads through the ground. the shoe, the right feet and the stone bases. Access to the corridor from the ground floor is done by an external wooden staircase, of a simple and humble nature.-Hacienda La Era
