Located in the Dornajo ravine, this natural outcrop of water dates from the origins of Los Realejos as a settlement after the conquest, even being able to be in use from dates before these. There is evidence of the outcrop of these waters in the lithographs inserted in Las Miscellan are canrtiennes made by the English author JJ Williams in the first third of the nineteenth century. These water supply points were essential places for the public supply to which the water was to be taken daily, so the sources became meeting places and relations with the neighbors while waiting for the turn to fill the barrels, cans or cantaros containers that they carried on a ring, pad or yoke with hook to make the transport of this water more bearable.

It is a natural outcrop of drinking water that oozes between the cracks of the threads of the vertical wall of a cliff of basic rock, where together with this outcrop a series of infrastructures have been made during the 19th century to take advantage of these waters, consisting of the construction of a supply point executed with mortar and pipe outlet pipeline, together with small laundry rooms attached to the rectangular glass fountain executed with mortar.
