This Hermitage belonged to the Treasury founded by Hernando de Castro known as the 'Mayorazgo '. Originally a hermitage was erected at the other end of the Rambla on the border with the Barranco de Ruiz that disappeared and was replaced by it. In the first years of the seventeenth century there are documentary references about its existence in this place of its existence in this place. Inside, it features a mud jar armor without decoration, as well as a simple altarpiece with maritime simulations guarding the image of the round lump of St. Peter's Apostle, a 17th-century work belonging to the Canarian school. |

Building located at the foot of the Royal Road, in an area of steep slope that is solved by creating a construction support plane by executing a small square to the North and leveling it with respect to the slope. In this plane a typical rectangular plan of these east-west oriented religious buildings is set up, placing the altar in the West. Its main façade is articulated by a lintelled entrance highlighted by a wooden curb that highlights a semicircular arch over this bay. On the north side emerges a small sword a. The South façade is almost hidden due to the steepness of its location and does not present any pressure, while the North façade presents the central opening of a bay lined with a two-leaf wooden door that communicates with the square. The roof is resolved by a traditional mud jar armor without decoration and three waters with Arabic tile roofing, it does not have eaves and the evacuation of the water is done by means of wooden grooves located on both facades. |
