This well drilled near the coastal mouth of the Barranco de Ruiz, was made for the extraction and pumping of the underground waters of this mighty ravine, which since the first settlements were used in a traditional way, through gravity channeling resolved in Other growing areas. Thanks to the industrial revolution, the possibility of raising water by mechanical means is created by installing pumps capable of raising that water as is the case of the current one, which is still in operation. |

Simple building with a square floor, with walls of concrete blocks and a space to access the interior. The roof is currently resolved by metal sheets. Inside it houses the wellhead and lifting equipment. |
