Linked to the cultural life of the Realejos and more specifically to the surroundings of the Holy Cross, the property dates back to the twentieth century, exactly in the 1950 end date. The property incorporates characteristic features of the traditional Canarian architecture through a reinterpretation and modernization of the architectural features, so it can be included within the regionalist architecture. It is an architectural current that appears in Spain in a period that includes the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, in which architectural models of the past are used, reflecting architecturally static characteristics of the place. Popular architectural styles are adopted, either by taking aesthetic models of the place (either in the constructive style or in the ornamentation or through the use of construction materials). It arises along with other historicist currents where elements and architectural models of the past are used. |

Erected on a rectangular plant (although architecturally the plant is not finished) by means of constructive techniques based on reinforced concrete, cement and stone mortar masonry, reaching a height of two floors. The symmetrical and orderly arrangement of the openings stands out on its facade. In its frontispiece a semicircular balcony is located on the second floor on an atrium formed by a loggia of three semicircular arches. Superiorly the property is highlighted with a prominent longitudinal cornice made of stone that delimits the start of the parapet, a parapet that closes the flat roof in its entire perimeter. In the central part there is a front of curved lines that frames the date of completion and the name of the property. The windows are made of guillotine, characterized by finding two paired windows covering the entire bay and being framed in stone. |
