The building was built at the end of the 19th century, its walls being the oldest witnesses of the convent of San Juan Bautista, reused for its realization. The convent of San Juan Bautista built by Juan de Gordejuela in 1610, convent destroyed by a fire in 1806 and confiscated in the thirties of that century. The property is included in classicism, where simplicity and cleanliness of forms are sought. The classicist style is characterized by order, balance and symmetry, with a return to the classic ideal of beauty where are the beauty standards of antiquity, which classicism intends to imitate. This increases the feeling of stability and tension, of contained movement. On the other hand, it seeks to show in its features the simplicity and naturalness that everyone wants to like, not only the most refined nobility but also the plain people. |

The plant of the property is in the form of 'L ' where a small patio is generated that communicates the main module of the service units. The building rises to two heights in the whole set. The main and noble part stands on two plates with a marked symmetry and proportion on its facades, covering the whole with a flat roof. The openings are oblong, where on the ground floor there are access doors to the property and different units, reserving the window-doors for the most noble part as a small balcony or gazebo. The main module has a characteristic exterior wooden staircase that allows access to the flat roof, highlighting the jabalcones that support it. The flat roof is hidden behind a parapet built on a longitudinal ledge that marks the end of the facade at the top. The carpets are made of wooden beams, characterized by having a unique interwoven made of wood chips. The module of the service units annexed to the noblest module that generates and forms the plant in 'L ' is of two heights with sloping roof to two curved tile waters. Outside its facade, which communicates with the open courtyard, a corridor covered with modern wood bill is installed. |
