The compositional simplicity and the figurative abstraction of the property where there is a fusion of aesthetic features and different influences encompass it within the typology of ecological real estate. In this way, the incipient ecological style incorporates greater artistic achievements in the facade thanks to the use of reinforced concrete, which generates new construction processes, structural systems and improvements in habitability. Erected by the initiative of Agust n Espinosa Chaves and projected in a measured ecological language by the architect Pelayo L pez Mart n u2013 Romero, could be dated in the twenties of the twentieth century. Its promoter, two Agust n Espinosa, was mayor of the then Realejo Alto and cousin of the surrealist writer Agust n Espinosa Garc a. Architect Pelayo L pez Mart n u2013 Romero was characterized by oscillating between regionalism and abandonment of static approaches by attracting the new possibilities that the new constructive techniques offered.

The building is built on a square floor, reaching two heights by using modern materials such as reinforced concrete and cement mortar. The arrangement of the openings in its main facade are ordered, with a decoration in shallow or disorganized facade. They highlight the geminated windows that adapt to the shape of the vain with a semicircular arch, existing on the top floor that form a vain of shape and dimensions that are powerfully present in the rest of the openings. Decorative elements include the existence of cornices that mark the heights and a parapet with strips of mason balusters a. The commercial area is located on the ground floor and the house on the upper floor, the floors interconnected by a staircase, which in turn gives access to the flat roof. The property is covered with a flat roof. Within the different rich sculptural volumes existing in the property, the cornice with decoration by means of a curve and countercurve that tops the facade and that marks the beginning of the parapet, the impost that divides the building's heights, the molding into cement mortar that surrounds the openings and balusters superiorly. Inside, the hydraulic slab floors, the iron railing of the staircase and the modernist reminiscent fence installed on the main access door stand out.

The main facade of the property is characterized by being rectangular and developed in two heights. It has a shallow decoration, with an orderly compositional rhythm of the openings. On the upper deck there is a tower n that houses the staircase that connects the different floors. Detail of the geminated windows. The openings on the second floor schematically maintain the same dimensions and shapes as the rest of the existing openings, forming a compositional unit. The existing windows are composed of two flip-up sheets, each with a rectangular quarter in the lower part and glazed panels arranged in the upper part. Inside, lids are provided with frames that have the same decoration as the exterior panels, geometric relief decoration. On the set of the two sheets there is a glazed upright that adapts to the semicircular arch of the opening. Delimiting the access area to the outside as a balcony, a small decorative balustrade made of cement mortar is placed. The openings on the upper floor are covered with the arrangement of two window units described above, separated by a rectangular section pillar.
