The property with a marked eccratic character with influences from the architecture of the Spanish waves was built on a plot belonging to the Espinosa-Garc family in Estrada since the 18th century. The property is dated at the beginning of the 20th century. In it inhabited the surrealist writer Agust n Espinosa Garc a (Puerto de la Cruz 1897- Los Realejos 1939), being the only building linked to the life of the writer who remains standing. Agust n Espinosa Garc a was one of the greatest exponents of the surrealist side in Spain and shared the famous generation of 27. The compositional simplicity and figurative abstraction of the property where there is a fusion of aesthetic features and different influences they include it within the typology of ecc cical property. In this way, the incipient ecological style incorporates greater artistic achievements in the facade thanks to the use of reinforced concrete, which generates new construction processes, structural systems and improvements in habitability. |

The property has a characteristic plant in the form of 'U ', erected on two floors (main floor and a basement) through stone walls and mud on the outside and brick walls in the interior divisions. In the corners of the countries that make up the different facades are carved ashlars of greater size as a support system. The property has large corridors for the use of natural light. The characteristic shape of its open plan to the east generates ample green spaces, there is a glazed viewpoint that is accessed from the dining room through two semicircular arches supported by a column. In the front and as a prelude to the access of the property there is a terrace closed by pilasters and mason balusters a. The facade of marked horizontal lines is rectangular with an orderly arrangement of its openings, crowned superiorly with a cornice and parapet that prevents seeing the sloping roof. The roofs are four-tile flat roof on a pair and row structure. Inside the property is divided into heights by means of wooden alfarjes. The carpentry of the interior doors and the hydraulic floor are unique. |
