The property takes from its promoter the name of Casa Carrero, carrier in carts of the beginning of the century, from which the descendants adopt the nickname. The compositional simplicity and the figurative abstraction of the property where there is a fusion of aesthetic features and different influences encompasses it within the typology of ecological property, built between medians, being able to be dated at the beginning of the XX, between the twenties and thirty. In this way, the incipient ecological style incorporates greater artistic achievements in the facade thanks to the use of reinforced concrete, which generates new construction processes, structural systems and improvements in habitability.

It is a simple building of a height plant that adapts the orography of the land existing in the area of public character a rectangular facade of a height. The square floor leaves a small orchard in the back that is accessed through the property. Despite the small size of the main façade, there is a studied volumetric and compositional game, reflected by the orderly placement of the openings. Highlights include the horizontal strips that make up a cement mortar and a sill in the roof area franked in the lower part by a ledge and in the upper part by an almizate. The set is covered by a flat cover.

Situación

The property has a rectangular facade of a height, adapted to the orography of the land with an orderly arrangement of the openings, with the opening of the two windows, a door-window and a door. The openings are oblong with decoration on the top. Superiorly the facade is topped with a cornice and a parapet.-Casa Carrero (García Estrada, 24)

The carpentry of the property is characterized by having a window door with two swinging leaves. In the lower part there are some barracks with geometric relief molding. The main part of the set is made up of glass shutters as a guillotine window that allows access to light inside. Inside, there is the existence of cover sheets with decoration at base of quarters similar to those existing outside. One of the existing doors on the ground floor consists of two folding leaves with geometric relief decoration, there being in each one rectangular squares with geometric relief decoration. Superiorly there is a glazed upright that allows access to light inside. The door is framed superiorly with a cement mortar molding.-Casa Carrero (García Estrada, 24)

The windows are made of two folding leaves made of wood. Each sheet is divided into four quarters (three glazed windows and a wooden quarter decorated with geometric relief motifs). The window assembly is finished off with two light covers divided into rectangular frames with similar relief decoration of geometric motifs. The glazed room acts as a shutter. The windows are set back with respect to the facade line and are framed superiorly with a cement mortar molding.-Casa Carrero (García Estrada, 24)
