This cross chapel located on San Benito Street, belongs to the group of chapels dedicated to the diffusion and devotion to the Holy wood in Los Realejos. This is a very simple building, which also praises the beginning of the population center, whose origin lies in the existence of a wooden cross located on this road. After the foundation of the 17th century of the convent of Santa Lucia of the Franciscan Order, those friars placed crosses in different places far from the population centers, establishing their own V a Crucis. |

Chapel of a single body, of limited dimensions, which presents a simple facade, defined by the front wall, which houses a half-point cover that houses the door of two wooden sheets, glazed, which allows a view of the interior through bars that protect the gap generated between the stringers and combs of the upper part of both leaves, also on the facade, on the ridge, and on the sides on pilasters are religious sculptures. The roof is resolved to two waters with Arabic tile. |
