The San Juan Degollado square has the construction of a temple, it was manufactured at the beginning of the 20th century (between 1900 and 1903), the second in 1925 Rogelio Padr n Sosa is authorized to build it and in 1926 the construction is completed , while the current temple entered the reopening of the square on Sunday, July 7, 1991.

In the first years of the twentieth century, the plaza was endowed with a wooden kiosk, built on the initiative of Arafero lawyer Don Federico Batista Marrero.

In 1924, the reform of the Plaza de San Juan Degollado was proposed, in which a new mamposter kiosk was erected (replacing the current one) and on June 5, 1925 Don Rogelio Padr n Sosa (tower builder of the church) submits to the town hall the request to build a modern cement kiosk, with two bodies.

On March 27, 1926, the concession of the high band Nivaria was approved in full at the proposal of the upper part of the kiosk for 10 years in exchange for free evening entertainment, being August 29, 1926 at the Patron Saint of Arafo the inauguration of the new temple or kiosk of the Plaza de San Juan Degollado.

At this time there are two bands of music in the municipality, a confrontation untied by the use of the kiosk, denying the use for years to the Band 'La Candelaria ' until in 1931 the Band 'Nivaria ' resigned to all your rights to use the upper part of the kiosk.

Kiosk made of mamposter a, of two heights with octagonal floor, closed on its ground floor giving shelter to the canteen area, with two openings with semicircular arches on almost all of its sides. Open on the top floor as a space for live music, with a forged sill. The sloping roof is supported by right feet, the roof is made by sloping skirts topped with curved tiles.
