This house is nestled between two very important centers throughout the life of the municipality of Arafo. On the one hand, Mario Marrero Fari a street, which served as an entrance to the municipality, and on the other the church and square of San Juan de Degollado.

In this house was the former Pestano Batista Consolation School, which was the first woman to have a higher education in Arafo.

Due to its constructive characteristics, two heights, flat roof, large doors; This house was built at the beginning of the 20th century.

Housing between medians of rectangular plan with a backyard in which subsequent constructions have been carried out. The property consists of two floors with an ordered and symbolic facade with four stylized openings, two on the lower floor and two on the upper floor, as well as a flat roof. SITUACIÓN

Access door, divided into two swing doors. The lintel of the door has a slight arch. The molding lacks carpentry work. The doors are two rectangular frames without further work. The top of the door has a horizontal skylight covered by two vertical bars.-Calle Mario Marrero Fariña, nº 4

Door window of the plant, formed by two hinges. The lintel is not carved. The body of the door can be divided into two quarters, one of almost square wood and the other formed by two rectangular guillotine windows. Inside you can see some shutters.
