Villa de Arafo
- Arquitectura Civil y Doméstica. Arquitectura Doméstica Urbana -

This urban character building must have been built at the beginning of the 19th century and belonging to the Garc a Siliuto family, with strong links in the export business. It has a cistern in its interior, at the same time that it has a wooden galley.
During the twentieth century, educational activities were developed, while serving as a rehearsal room for the Nivaria Band during the first third of the last century.
Its location in the privileged Isabel II street, currently called La Libertad, whose origins in the path correspond to an ancient aboriginal transhumant road that joins the summit and the coast of the G Mar Valley.
This street connects the Plaza de San Juan Degollado with the old Plazuela del Llano, and through it came much of the public and economic life of Arafo running in both directions the cars that communicated this population with the rest of the regions of the island. In it during the 19th and 20th centuries new buildings were erected that housed public functions (casinos, town hall ...) that coexisted with the historic buildings dedicated to the agricultural holdings so present in the municipality.

Calle La Libertad nº 27

Two-storey house, adapted to the orography of the land, with a rectangular plan and built between medians, to which annexes have subsequently been attached to the back of the property.
It has a trapezoidal facade with six openings symmetrically placed three on the upper floor and three on the lower, although they are not ordered, if they maintain a certain logical order.
The access to the property is done through a large door, which was probably access to the rear set at another time of construction of the house.
There is a window on the same floor to give interior luminosity, and a window with a wooden railing of a quarter and windows of two wooden swinging leaves. On these there is a fixed glazed room with light covers to allow access to light inside. The windows of the upper floor have a wooden sill of a rectangular quarter and two-glazed windows of guillotine and the flashing are decorated with grooves.
The set is finished off with a factory wall, after which a flat roof appears, and by a wooden balustrade that protects an inclined roof of Arabic tile.
