Building located in the historic Isabel II street, currently called La Libertad, whose origins in the path correspond to an ancient aboriginal transhumant road that joins the summit and the coast of the Gimar Valley.
This street connects the Plaza de San Juan Degollado with the old Plazuela del Llano, and through it came much of the public and economic life of Arafo running in both directions the cars that communicated this population with the rest of the regions of the island. In it during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries new buildings were erected that housed public functions (casinos, town hall ...) that coexisted with the historic buildings dedicated to the agricultural holdings so present in the municipality.
Due to its constructive characteristics, this building can be dated at the end of the 18th century or the beginning of the 19th century.
This house was owned by Nicol s P. rez Hern ndez (1827-1888).

Housing made following the orography of the land, has caused it to have different levels of facade. Three different bodies can be considered, although one is only a facade to give access to the rear of the property, where it was, in another little orchards, which have now been replaced by annexes to the house.

The house has an L-floor and its roofs are inclined, with three and four waters, made with a pair and row roof. Under the tile is present of these inverted forming a row of teeth, characteristic of the Canarian constructions.

The facade has three openings, one placed in each of the modules.

The exterior carpentry has been replaced almost entirely, maintaining the main door of the house that is made with a double sheet with rectangular rectangular frames, and with a slight decoration of curve and against curve.
