This building is located in the historic La Libertad Street, whose pathway genes correspond to an ancient aboriginal transhumant road that connects to the summit and the coast of the Gimar Valley, links the San Juan Degollado square with the old Plazuela del Llano, and through it came much of the public and economic life of Arafo running in both directions the cars that communicated this population with the rest of the regions of the island. In it during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries new buildings were erected that housed public functions, as well as private, as is the case of this house that had a carpenter inside, who lived with the historic buildings dedicated to agricultural holdings. queues so present in the municipality.
The property of this house was of the Romero family, for its constructive characteristics it was erected at the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century.

Housing located at the confluence of two streets adapting to the unevenness of the street, leaving behind a small yard for private use.
It has two heights of rectangular plan, with two openings in each of its main faces, maintaining the vertical symmetry between them.
The main access to the house is located on Juan Pablo II Street, with a simple wooden door formed by two swinging leaves with a meeting post and four boards per sheet. Externally it has a wooden frame without any decoration.
On the facade that overlooks the main street it has two openings, both windows, one at street level and one on the top floor.
The lower floor window is formed by a wooden sill with a rectangular quarter, two fixed folding leaves with a fixed glass at the top divided by sticks, both horizontal and vertical.
The windows of the upper floor, of the same characteristics, are double-leafed with glass-like windows, with a wrought iron parapet with floral decoration, with a wooden sill, giving the balcony appearance once the windows are opened.
The house is topped with a sill with semicircular end towards the street and throughout the per meter.
