This building is located in one of the historic streets of Arafo, Eduardo Curbelo Fari Street, which communicated the old Plazuela del Llano, a place of reference for the spider economy, with the old gofio mill and the public washrooms, whose or genes in its layout correspond to the ancient aboriginal transhumance path that joins the summit and the coast of the G Mar Valley, and which continues along La Morra del Tanque, El Pinalete and las Arenas, joins Arafo, with La Orotava, through La Crucita and Aguamansa.

The building that was linked to the agricultural holdings of the Marrero Family during the 18th century. In it the Priest Arafero D. V ctor Eusebio Marrero (1795 u2013 1882) lived and died who was not only known or because of his ecclesiastical work, but also had an important role in the agricultural exploitation of the municipality taking care of The properties of El Lomo, the 'Cueva del Canario ' and the place known in its honor as ' the winery of the Rigo ', whose production seems to be important. In this house still maintains a winery inside.

Currently his property rests with the Monje family.

Housing built following the orography of the land, with which it is built in a staggered manner, forming on the facade three modules, in addition to a fourth module that closes the property and gives access to the yards and back annexes.
The entire construction consists of two floors in the upper module, and a single plant in the remaining two modules.
The walls have been made by ashlars in the corners, with rubble and mampuestos inside larger stones.
The facades are trapezoidal, with nine openings the first module, and three openings the remaining.
Its carpenter is the traditional one of the time, with guillotine-like windows, with glass divided by sticks, and with a sill formed with a single straight quarter. The carpenters of the doors are characterized by being of simple composition, formed with boards.
The set is topped with flat roofs protected with parapet, to make them passable, with a stone sill collected with lime mortar. Access to the covers of the lower modules is done through the upper doors
