In 1958, the City Council of Teguise approved the Water Supply Plan, a fact that radically changed an old habit: that of acquiring water in the public tide. But it was only in 1961 when the drinking water pipeline project was carried out, which meant the construction of pillars, currently retaining three, which partially transformed the original appearance of La Villa.
