Sobrado: habita is of two floors of colonial style architecture. They were built approximately at the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. Remains of a scravocratic society, the surpluses were the houses of the rural aristocracy of S or Philip on which the higher standards were reserved for a dwelling or two properties, and the ground floors were destined to places and frames. u201 This surplus was built between 1820-50 by Jo or Carlos de Medina, a film of a real-life Fazenda da Ilha do Fogo. Foi also resided in Bacharel, Alvaro Adolfo Avelino Henriques (Nh Arbi), born in 1849, descendant of Marcellin Jos Jorge Henriques (Capit o - Mor da Ilha do Fogo in 1787). A decoration or non-interior mural of the surplus is attributed to Alem or Albert Ernest Koenig, who also had a work not done by Maria Chaves.
