This square comprises a large open space with access stairs to the interior of the park, whose esplanade is the kiosk of the cafeteria and the Interpretation Center of the Sculptures of the Park, initially conceived as a center of tourist information and control of the Park. At the bottom of it, the Flower Clock is shown in the middle of the stairs to the ponds designed by Rumeu de Armas in the middle of the century. The well-known Flower Clock presented by the park was manufactured in Switzerland by the Favag house and donated by the Danish consul, Peder Christian Larsen, in 1958, and remains an important and significant part of the Park.

The design of the interpretation center, as well as the space that comprises the northern zone, is a modern building of straight lines and noble materials such as wood and natural stone. For stairways, as well as the exterior of the structure of the clock, a natural stone cladding in gray tones has been used. The stair rails are made of steel. The watch face is adorned on the outside with small ceramic inlays of cobalt blue. In addition, a small metal fence has been placed around the clock structure as in the rest of the park's ponds.

Once the clock was repositioned in the roundabout, the team will give account of the excessive weight of the needles, since they were reinforced in order to avoid possible vandalism but to be counterproductive for the correct functioning of the mechanism. This will produce a new intervention to return the original condition to the needles. In addition, the internal wiring as well as its electrical protection is better. Within the possible ...
