GLORIETA MONUMENTO AL CLIMA (PARQUE GARCÍA SANABRIA)

It comprises in a circular way the position of four masonry benches in whose backs there are mosaics with allegorical allegations, designed by the Portuguese artist L to Tav o and manufactured by a Sevillian company called the Factory of the Widow of Jos Mensaque and Vera. Three of these benches are located at the bottom which is accessed by means of trails or the two stairways from the top of the aforementioned roundabout, where the fourth bank is located.

CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIAL SYSTEMS

The space is organized through the structures in the form of wooden and factory doors that protect each of the banks. The benches are made of stone and brick, coated with cement mortar and painted yellow.

The state of conservation of these mosaics is quite bad. Many of the pieces appear beaten or painted. However, this space remains one of the most charming places in the park. It will be necessary to proceed with the restoration of damaged items by the competent authority. On the sculpture that Blasco projected, crowning the set there was an iron sphere with the signs of Zod aco and the silhouette of the island of Tenerife, which has disappeared.
