The Rambla de Las Tinajas, is a walk within the Rambla de Santa Cruz, which extends between the northern length of the Garc Park to Sanabria, the upper area of the Barrio de Los Hoteles-Pino de Oro and the Mencey Hotel. Along this little walk, the flamboyans are distributed on both sides of this, bordering on both directions of the road. The large jars that accompany these trees characterize the place. The flamboy n is a deciduous tree between six and eight meters high that belongs to the legume family. The species is widespread in various parts of the world such as Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico and India. In recent years it has become a very common specimen in the Canary Islands since this tree needs high temperatures to survive. It is characterized by the reddish color of its flower, so characteristic. |
