This house so characteristic of the Tima sea side of the city of Santa Cruz, is located on Calle La Marina, although by its arrangement it also opens towards Anaga Avenue or Francisco La Roche. It was devised by the municipal architect Antonio Pintor, in 1913, for the La Roche family. In the beginning, it was designed as a single-family home, currently it houses different businesses dedicated to the hotel, which altered the interior distribution of the same, having disappeared an inner courtyard that has the building. |

The house is distributed on three floors, with three other structural elements: central body, another located on the left and tower n, just at the confluence of the two streets that border the building. The interior space is subdivided by the different rooms that are arranged longitudinally to both facades. As an element of connection between the rooms, a distributor corridor acts as a link zone. As exterior decorative elements we can highlight the discreet bay in the borders, ceilings, moldings and cornices, the crowning of the tower in an ochavada shape, the hollows of the half-point windows with profile mules, glazed uprights with segmentation in several vertical parts and sticks. Tower n is closed with an eight-water roof, with a steep eave and supported by wooden profiles, crowned in its central part by a needle. |
