Hyllning från staden San Crist bal de La Laguna till forskaren, humanisten och professor som är född i Arrecife (Lanzarote) och som har betraktats som den spanska fysikens far. Bysten uppstår på initiativ av Cabrera Pinto Canary Islands Institute och The Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Country of Tenerife och invigdes i juni 2002. Det ligger på Plaza de Guillermo Rances inom inneslutningen av Institutet kommer åt det från gatan i San Agust n.
