Tribute from the city of San Crist bal de La Laguna to the researcher, humanist and professor born in Arrecife (Lanzarote), and who has been considered the father of Spanish physics. The bust arises on the initiative of the Association of Friends of the Cabrera Pinto Canary Islands Institute, and the Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Country of Tenerife and was inaugurated in June 2002. It is located in the Plaza de Guillermo Rances within the enclosure of the Institute accessing it from the street of San Agust n.
