Sculpture placed by the Hon. City Hall of San Crist bal de La Laguna in 2016 in the old Passage El Drago and currently named after the organist, pianist and composer Ferm n Cedr s. The sculpture was made in bronze by the sculptors of Talleres Bronzo Evelina Mart n Rodr guez and Francisco Rodr guez de Armas, who made the first image that was stolen in 1997 from the same place. FERM N CEDR S He was born in Tegueste in 1844 and lives a large part of his life in La Laguna where he died in 1927. He grew up and became a musician in the heat of the young Cathedral of Los Remedios. Among the compositions of Cedr s can be found from sacred to profane pieces, although his great work for which he is remembered is by the Canarian carol Lo Divino popularly known throughout the Canary Islands.
