It was founded in the first half of the 16th century to worship the copatrono chosen as a lawyer and protector against the plague. It was restored by the City Council of La Laguna in 1991.

The roof is made of Arabic tile, gable in the nave and four waters over the chapel.

Surrounding the set there is a crenellated wall.

Its interior is extremely simple. His ship is unique and has no prominent facade. It is accessed through a very modest canter door, located on one side of the hermitage. It lacks a sword a.
