Originally it was known as Chapel of the Cross of Los lamos and according to Rodr guez Moure in his Guide to La Laguna was transferred from Vega de La Laguna in 1810. Teresa L. Villamanzo de Armas in her study published on La Cruz in the iconography and in the history of La Laguna in 2007, contradicts this assumption confirming that said chapel appears in the plan of the lagoon drawn in 1779 by M. Le Chevalier, correcting as the chronology contributed by Moure. It is currently located on Quintin Benito Street N 2. |
