The Javier Fern ndez Quesada Student Park, previously called 'arque de Los Dragos ' was inaugurated in 1992 on September 8, by the Mayor of La Laguna D.Jos Segura Clavell and changed its name in 2008 to which it has at present.

The park has an area of 3850 m2. It is located between the streets Heraclio S. nchez and Doctor Antonio Gonz lez, in the area called 'adrid tero '. On its sides it borders the Faculty of Education of the University of La Laguna and the CEIP Aneja Practices, on the one hand. While, on the other hand, it borders the Housing for professors of the University of La Laguna and the Colegio Mayor Santa Mar a.

As for the park, it has 4 entrances of which two face Heraclio S. nchez street and two towards Doctor Antonio Gonz lez street.

It is equipped with a children's play area located on the side of the park, a dog park located in the center of the park, decorated with several trunks, several palm trees and dragos.

The temple that is located in the west of the park is in an area with a slab (stone) finish, a texture that distinguishes the area from the park's trails.

The architectural description of the temple will be done from the bottom, starting with the kiosk, to the top, ending with the details of the temple's cover.

The kiosk is octagonal, it is made up of a zalo with a blue-gray paint finish. Its structure is based on a concrete frame system (beams and columns) with an orange paint finish, the enclosures of the space are also concrete and have a cream paint finish.

Over the years, the original vegetation of the park has been changed, but always conserving Canarian palms and dragon trees as dominant species. The park for dogs and monoliths has also been incorporated as a tribute to Che Guevara to the victims of AIDS in the Canary Islands and to the Student Javier Fern ndez Quesada, which currently names the park since 2008.
