It is a work of the sculptor Edgar Negret Due as (Popay n-Colombia 1920), which stands in the parking lot of Mar Timo C Sar Manrique Park, belonged to the II International Exhibition of Street Sculpture. A cultural event that took place in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 1994, organized by the Official College of Architects of the Canary Islands, in collaboration with the Island Council, City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Caja Canarias, in which various works were exhibited that Even today they are in the capital of Tenerife, except for the work of 'Hombre a Caballo ' , by Fernando Botero, which was the only one returned. The Colombian artist sent a scale model 1:10 of the current sculpture. This model was reproduced by the Su rez Manual Fellow, under the supervision of the professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts Drago D az and Manel Aldeguer. |
