Andreu Alfaro Hern ndez was born in Valencia in 1929. Related to the Parpall Group (1957), his works, exhibited at the Venice Biennale of 1966 My Black Brother, achieved an international echo. At the end of the 1960s he experimented profusely with metallic materials such as steel and aluminum. In 1980 I experimented with wire and marble. The same year I received the Premi d u2019 Honor Jaume I and in 1981 the National Prize of Plastic Arts. In 1991 the Valencian council granted him the Alfons Roig Prize d u2019Arts Pl stiques
