Housing complex of two heights located in the neighborhood of El Toscal, which could be raised approximately in the decade of the seventies of the nineteenth century. These are two-story buildings whose facades, framed within an austere and modest constructive style, are organized regularly in order to distribute the gaps symmetrically.

Houses number 46 and 48, on the ground floor with two holes (door and window) and on the top floor, on the same vertical, with two windows.

All the houses have in their high part, and separating the facade of the wall that closes the roof, a cornice with moldings. It should be noted that of the three houses, two are of a very simple typology (numbers 46 and 48) and the other of a more complicated structure and of a higher level (number 44), although their characteristics b These are very similar and correspond to the basic building that not only abounds in this street but throughout the city to house the incipient bourgeois to Santacrucera of that time.

Set of two houses between medians, to which a new volume of three floors was added.

The facades of the first two floors, which represent the configuration of the original buildings, were treated in the same way, producing an overall view, which was probably necessary for the intended use. In fact, on the facade it puts 'Galer to Echevarria art '.

The facade is flat and symmetrical, because in fact the distribution of the first part in the second part is reflected, according to the vertical axis. So, the lower floor has two openings to access the buildings and two windows, and the upper floor, correspondingly, other windows. These are characterized by a parapet in wrought iron. In horizontal they have a smooth and continuous basement throughout the units. The cornices highlight the position of the slabs. The upper blind parapet gives horizontality to the whole. The volume has a very different facade, by colors and materials. It presents, just in axis with the openings below, more windows. In addition, to highlight the difference between these two elements, the original and the new, the third floor moves back a bit, that is, it is not at the same level as the others.

Elements of Interest: Wood carpenters.

The state of conservation is very good, due to the recent restoration works.

Only some elements of carpentry, the doors of the ground floor and the windows of the upper floor, show some deterioration.
