Mosaic piece executed in concrete painted in black, formed by eight modules arranged one on top of the other, giving a feeling of continuity and infinity, due to its length and verticality. It sits on a small base (practically non-existent), which acts as a pedestal, integrating and forming part of the surface where it rests. u201 Tribute to Pascal ' refers to the French mathematician, physicist, philosopher and writer Blaise Pascal (1623-1662). Gottfried Honegger was born in Z rich in 1917. After studying at the School of Applied Arts in Z rich, he founded a graphic design, decoration and photography workshop in 1938 ... He dedicated himself to graphic arts, and then later, to do so with art, with painting and sculpture specifically, in the late fifties he devoted himself to full time. Honegger replaces the subjective choice of the elements that structure the work, with a use of mathematical chance (computerized in 1960, dice rolls from 1971). His works in sculpture saw the light from 1968. His work, in general, was based mainly on circular shapes and also used the square. Pioneer in defending concrete and abstract art. On the occasion of the last exhibition in Paris, he has declared 'Tin ninety-eight years and I have decided to change the world '.
