Building designed by the architect Domingo Pisaca and Burgada in 1939 as a school. Its construction was extended for some years, so it was completed in 1946. Located in the street of La Rosa, located on a plot in front of a school group manufactured at the end of the 19th century, Pisaca builds a new school and reception center with characteristics diametrically opposed to the one located on its front, but it is careful to keep a great harmony with him, giving an interesting coherence to that stretch of street. The building for the Hogar-Escuela de Mar a Auxiliadora is part of the rationalist typology, presenting a true singularity in the evolution and work of Pisaca. The work is one of the most outstanding contributions of this architect to rationalist aesthetics. This is one of the most prominent buildings of the architect Pisaca and one of his most relevant contributions to the architecture of his time. The building continues to perform its school functions regularly, staying in a more than acceptable state. |

Original L-shaped building, which is accessed towards the inner courtyard. The facade is flat with five floors that are set back in relation to the street. It is also rich in decorative elements and treatment of materials. The windows that characterize each floor develop along the horizontal axis. In addition, this horizontality is highlighted through the surrounding frame. |

The state of conservation of the school is good. It does not present any particular deterioration, but dirt along the facade. |
