EJECUTORES Y EJECUTADOS (XAVIER CORDERÓ)

The work consists of six modules, each consisting of two spheres of the same size and joined together by a common extension that forms a strangled arch in the center. The pieces suspended in the air are mobile, while the other three couples, painted in black, are supported by concrete columns at different heights. Each module measures 1.17 x 2.10 x 0.97 meters.

Xavier Corber and Olivella (Barcelona, 1935-Esplugas de Llobregat, 2017) is a Catalan sculptor of international fame, has worked for the City Council of Barcelona, at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, designed the Olympic medals and advising on the placement of rich sculptural pieces for the Games.
