Building designed by Marrero Regalado in 1935 for Rosa Palaz n. Its promoter fought before the official municipal media accepted rationalism with the same dignity as the previous ones, overcoming it. When Marrero traced the La Rambla house, it only reached the current street of Doctor Naveiras, so its layout outside the ground and the large garden space available until recently. The front is practically the original; later it would be enlarged by its rear, suppressing some terraces that gave to the north that gave it a lighter volumetr. Access and front terrace located on the axis, with balcony. Curved elements are introduced, especially in the formation of hollow windows, viewpoints, horizontal lines and flat volumes. The openings in the corner stand out. Elements of Interest: Wood and metal carpenters, balconies and cantilever slabs. Walls and exterior closing bars. |
